Cadeler has completed turbine installation at Germany’s He Dreiht project. The 960MW wind farm is the first commercial-scale deployment of Vestas’ 15MW V236 platform.
RWE has completed construction at its Enoch Hill wind farm. The 70MW East Ayrshire project uses 15 Nordex turbines and follows first electricity in April and completion of turbine commissioning during May.
European Energy has secured financing for its Cornwall hybrid project. Danske Bank is providing £58.1 million for the 68MW solar and 47.5MW/95MWh battery development already under construction at Indian Queens.
ACCIONA will build two battery systems beside Spanish renewable assets. The 33MW/66MWh programme covers two-hour installations in Cuenca and Palencia, with both systems scheduled to enter operation by the end of 2027.
